This past weak end I attended the Solar Fiesta in Albuquerque put on by the New Mexico Solar Energy Association (NMSEA). NMSEA is a non profit dedicated to education that was founded in 1972. I would recommend getting involved with NMSEA for anyone that is interested in our energy future.
This years event included just about everything a green nut could want. There was over 40 workshops available and I was able sample a variety to include permaculture, sustainable design, solar PV, solar thermal, passive solar, composting, energy conservation, and water conservation. I enjoyed all the workshops and plan on attending again next year. This years event caught me off guard but next year I will try to post the dates or you can check out the NMSEA website
